The item in the photo is a 10-inch khukuri display wooden stand for standard size 10-inch blade khukuri. We have a wooden stand for all sizes of a khukuri, just let us know which size you need in the order notes while checking out. This double rack-mounted khukuri display stand is completely handmade by using only conventional traditional domestic tools. It is made out of treated wood called Ashna, famously known in Nepal as “Seesaw”.
The process of making a single stand is very slow and laborious. It is as time-consuming as making a Khukuri, costing almost a complete day to finish one. All stands are made in Kathmandu, Nepal where skilled craftsmen use their skills and experience to craft these stands. They are detachable (hands come apart) so that they can be carried and taken away very easily.
