EGKH has introduced this new 8″ Authentic Army Khukuri | Predator Knife | EGKH bone handle khukuri. The kukri’s shape and size closely resemble the standard service no.1 kukri. But we have used bone instead of horn for the handle. We crafted the handle from bone to give the blade a unique & authentic appearance. It is a symbol of the amazing craftsmanship of our blacksmiths focused on practicality. The 8-inch high carbon steel blade handcrafted by skilled Nepalese blacksmiths the kukri uses traditional techniques & high-quality materials.
This 8″ Authentic Army Khukuri | Predator Knife | EGKH Kukri is a distinctive curved Nepalese knife that is very well renowned among the Military. The Nepalese army regards it as their basic utility knife. The bone handle has a solidly built rat tail tang. This design facilitates precise control and extreme comfort, even during demanding tasks. The khukuri’s overall length is 12.5 inches, striking a harmonious balance between compactness and reach, rendering it a dependable companion for outdoor endeavors. You can also customize the khukuri to your liking if you want it with a full tang handle. You can do so by simply selecting the Full Tang handle option.
The 8″ Authentic Army Khukuri | Predator Knife | EGKH excels as a chopping and slashing knife and is most renowned for military use. Its applications include clearing, chopping firewood, slaughtering animals for food, cutting meat and vegetables, skinning animals, and opening cans. Outdoor enthusiasts can use the Kukri as a survival or predator knife. The steel hardness levels measurements are spine 22-25 RC, belly 45-46 RC, and edge 54-55 RC. The lower spine measures 6 mm, and the upper spine is 9 mm thick.
A Karda & Chakmak are included with this khukuri. Karda is a sharp knife that can be used to cut fruits & vegetables, open tin cans, etc. The Chakmak is a blunt steel that can be used to hone the khukuri blade or to produce sparks for fire with fire steel or flint.
