This is the latest custom order item. EGKH Copy An uncommon variety of Vietnamese swords, most likely originating from the late 18th or early 19th century.
It has a narrow, springy blade with two well-defined fullers; and a central wide groove flanked by a narrower dorsal groove on top. The blade is forge-folded, showing an attractive wood grain especially where the grooves are cut and lower layers are exposed.
At the base is a brass collar piece, equivalent to the Chinese. The pistol-shaped hilt consists of a horn grip section of an octagonal cross-section that bends at an angle toward the pommel. The pommel, ferrule, and guard are made of brass. The guard is modeled after a Japanese tsuba, with the two openings (hitsu-ana) that the Japanese cut into their guards for two extra tools they carry.
This Sharp, durable Vietnamese ceremonial officer saber Sword is perfect for clearing a campsite, chopping charcoal and firewood, and removing bushes.

This Adventure-ready Survival knife features a stylish, premium-quality leather sheath. You don’t have to be concerned about the sharp blade slashing it every time you take out and put back the blade because it is sturdy and thick enough.

Vietnamese ceremonial officer saber Swords were extremely valuable items that could be passed down from one family to the next. To maintain good relations with high-status individuals, they were also given as gifts to them.
