Crafted through the meticulous artistry of traditional Nepalese blacksmiths known as Kaami, who have honed their blade-forging skills through generations, this kukri knife is a testament to their craftsmanship. The 20-inch blade, forged from 5160 high carbon steel sourced from truck leaf springs, ensures exceptional strength and durability. The balanced tempering process applied to the blade enhances its performance and resilience, making it a reliable companion for many tasks.

20″ Long Blade Sirupate Khukuri | Handmade Tactical Sword | EGKH knife is named after the Siru grass as its blade shape resembles a Siru leaf. This unique design gives it the title of Sirupate Khukuri. Its blade is somewhat straighter and not as wide as compared to other types of khukuri. With a 20-inch blade and a 12” handle crafted to properly fit the gripping fingers, it’s a very versatile sword that can be used with both one or two hands. The blade has an upper spine thickness of 7 mm, a lower spine thickness of 1 mm, and a belly width of 5 cm. The polished finish of the blade not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also aids in minimizing friction during cutting.

The 12-inch handle is a long full-tang gripper handle made of rosewood. It features two rosewood pieces securely attached to the metal part with 4 metal rivets. The total weight of the knife is approximately 2000 gm with the scabbard, karda & chakhmakh. To protect this masterpiece kukri when storing & for easy carriage we provide a beautiful scabbard made from cottonwood which is wrapped water buffalo leather that serves as a durable and stylish shield for the blade.
