The steel is heated, beaten, folded, and beaten again, resulting in a strong & powerful blade capable of handling heavy-duty tasks such as cutting logs and hardwood. This 16″ Hand Forged High Tactical Battle Kukri has a full-tang handle made from rosewood which makes it extremely durable. The handle, measuring 5.5 inches, is made from the same single piece of steel that continues to the blade, providing extreme sturdiness. It features two rosewood pieces securely attached to the metal part with three metal rivets.
The total length of 16″ Hand Forged High Tactical Battle Kukri | Handmade Kukri | EGKH measures approximately 21.5 inch, with a 2.4-inch belly. The thickest part of the blade’s spine has a thickness of around 8mm. Since it is crafted from carbon steel, it can be sharpened with ease to maintain its sharpness according to your preference. The kukri knife comes with a scabbard made of refined leather wrapped around processed wood, offering a distinct and improved appearance. Additionally, a leather loop known as Faraas and a frog leather is included. The weight of the knife is approximately 1280 grams, while along with the sheath, it weighs around 1500 grams.
The kukri comes with a scabbard that has two pockets on the back of it. The pockets hold a blunt steel called “Chakhmak” for sharpening the blade or for striking spark with a flint and a small sharp knife known as “Karda” used for skinning animals, opening cans, cutting paper, cutting or peeling small fruits & vegetables, etc. It is a truly unique knife to gift your loved ones as well.
