The Khukuri name Chitlange of this khukuri came from a small hilly town called Chitlang situated in the eastern part of Nepal. This type of khukuri is made in that place. Chitlange people specialized in many ornamented and decorative displays amongst which the Chitlange khukuri is one of their prized and prestigious establishments. A Cheetlange khukuri is basically a simple working and decorative knife. The glory, sovereignty, character, culture, and people of Nepal is captured in this unique work of art by the Cheetlange people. The Chitlange people mostly use it as a decorative tool because of its elegant and delicate look.

The 12″ Chitlange Light Version Full Tang Handle Traditional Khukuri Knife is a versatile and powerful knife designed for various tasks. This kukri knife is crafted by skilled Nepalese blacksmiths. This kukri knife is entirely handmade using traditional techniques and tools. The blade of the main kukri measures 12 inch in length and is made of 5160 High Carbon Steel, ensuring extra durability and strength. The blade comes with a semi-polished finish & a flat full tang handle. The handle measures 5 inch. The handle is made from rosewood and designed to be extremely durable & comfortable. The point of balance of the kukri is about 2.5″ above the handle into the blade. The khukuri comes with a scabbard made of pinewood, which is elegantly wrapped in water buffalo leather.

12″ Chitlange Light Version Full Tang Handle Traditional Khukuri Knife excels in a wide range of applications such as cutting, chopping, butchering, and piercing. The blade is very lightweight weighing just 500 gm. The total weight of the khukuri along with the scabbard and the Karda & Chakhmakh is just under a kg weighing 900 gm. 

The lightweight blade can be used for any kind of outdoor camping or jungle safari. The 12 inch blade size with a sharp edge when swung packs enough power for all clean cutting. Karda and Chakmak, two other knives, are also included in the Khukuri package. The Karda is a useful small sharp knife that may be used for a variety of tasks, including cutting fruit and opening cans. The Chakmak, a blunt steel, can be used to hone the blade and can even start a campfire with a flint spark.
