The 12″ Angkhola WWI Reproduction Khukuri | Machete Kukri | EGKH has an old traditional khukuri design that derives its name from the Angkhola village in far eastern Nepal. The handle type is Gripper Blocker, which ensures a comfortable grip. The kukri has a 5-inch flat full tang handle made of water buffalo horn attached on either side using rivets. This attachment provides for a strong & rigidly fixed handle. The handle is specifically designed to be highly durable and comfortable to hold.
This 12″ Angkhola WWI Reproduction Khukuri | Machete Kukri | EGKH knife played a very significant role in creating the history of Gurkhas. The blade is protected and made easy to carry around with the pinewood scabbard, which is covered with water buffalo leather. Employing an innovative design, the scabbard’s tip features a distinctive white metal component called Chape. This ingenious addition serves as a safeguard – in case the kukri is accidentally dropped during usage, the metal prevents harm to the scabbard.
The blade can be used for any kind of outdoor camping or jungle safari. Karda and Chakmak, two other knives, are also included in the Khukuri package. The Karda is a useful small sharp knife that may be used for a variety of tasks, including cutting fruit and opening cans. The Chakmak, a blunt steel, can be used to hone the blade and can even start a campfire with a flint spark. Purchasing this khukuri from EGKH ensures not only a remarkable and reliable knife but also comes with the added benefit of being covered by the EGKH Warranty.
