This is an 11″ Custom Handmade Rambo Knife | Hunting Knife Bowie Knife by Ex Gurkha Khukuri House.  The knife was inspired by the knife used by “John James Rambo” during his missions in the Rambo movies. The knife has an 11-inch blade made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel with extremely sharp edges. The blade has been professionally heat treated to balance hardness and toughness to increase its durability and capabilities.

A harder knife blade can perform better than a softer blade. The toughness of the blade is a very important factor that determines the ability to resist chipping, cracking, or breaking. Therefore using a very hard blade without toughness, such as a blade made from glass, will be very easy to break. This is why balancing hardness and toughness is very important and it is the main reason we heat treat every single blade we forge.

The highly graded 5160 carbon steel is an excellent balance of hardness and toughness needed in a durable blade. It provides razor-sharp cutting performance with high durability and easy edge maintenance. We specifically chose this steel so the blade can resist any hard corrosion and increase the life expectancy of the blade edge. This allows our knives to provide razor-sharp cutting performance over and over again.

The knife has a rosewood handle and is 5 inches in length. The handle also has a double guard to provide extra protection for the user’s hands. We provide a genuine leather sheath made from water buffalo leather along with this knife.
