10″ Panawal Angkhola Village Farmer Khukuri

Angkhola is also a popular village on the eastern side of Nepal. The handle of the khukuri from this village is always a single piece that goes all the way through the bottom of the blade. This very design is famous for the heavy-duty working knife to cut harder things like wood, firewood, bones etc. The main reason to be a single piece from the handle side is to grip the metal piece of the blade too while using. There are fuller (steps) on the blade so that while working with the knife it doesn’t strike and can easily re-charge the knife and complete the work easily and comfortably.

The 10″ Panawal Angkhola Village Farmer Khukuri is made of rust-free highly graded 5160 carbon steel or the truck spring steel (this is one of the best and strongest steels that are tempered to give the shape for heavy or strong duty). This is a handcrafted khukuri therefore please note that each one might have slight variations in measurement. The size of the blade is 10-inch OR 25.40cm highly graded carbon Steel. The handle is a full tang with about 5-inch or 12.70cm in length made from Indian rosewood. Overall the length of the khukuri is about 15-inch OR 38.10cm from the tip to the pommel of the knife.
