This is 10″ Modern Survival Khukuri | Western Survival Kukri Knife. The khukuri (also called kukri or khukri by people outside Nepal) is the distinctive curved Nepalese knife that is very popular with the Gurkhas & Nepalese people. It is the basic utility knife of the Nepalese people. The khukuri is respected throughout the world for its fearful effectiveness as a close combat knife. It is similar to a machete, used as a utility knife in Nepal. The blade is 10 inches in length with a pointed & curved tip at top of the blade. It is made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel with a balanced oil quenching temper making the blade very strong. The handle is very practical & beautiful, specially designed to get a better grip on the blade while using it. It is made of rosewood and is a full tang handle. There is also a blocker to protect the hand from the blade and a lanyard hole to attach a strap or a loop to the handle. The sheath is made from pure water buffalo leather.
