10″ Special Eagle Stone Setting Khukuri | Traditional Peacock Kukri

This is a 10″ special Eagle Stone Setting Khukuri. This khukuri (also called “kukri” or “khukri” in the west) is beautifully designed with mineral stones epoxied on the handle & scabbard for great stunning looks. This Kukri is one of the latest product of Ex Gurkha Khukuri House. The blade is well hand forged with razor sharp cutting edge. The blade is made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel and has Eagle design at the Handle which beautify the blade of this khukuri. The scabbard also features an artistic peacock design on it which enchances the beauty of this khukuri during display.

The handle of the blade of this khukuri is intricately crafted in eagle head design, which needs much skill and hard work of the craftsmen. The handle is made from the water buffalo bone with gripper design which makes it easy to hold while using. It has full flat tang blade which means that the metal of the blade fully goes through the handle to the end for maximum strength. The bones on the handle are glued to the handle part and further riveted with white metal to strengthen the whole fixture. A metal hand guard is attached just above the handle at the bottom of the blade of the kukri which is known as Kabjawal for the safety of the user. There is a hole at the bottom end of the handle so the user can use a cord to tie up blade in his hand in used and not to lose the knife.

The sheath is made from cottonwood wrapped in refined water buffalo leather. The scabbard cover is beautifully covered with stone setting all over the scabbard. This khukuri weighs about 850gm and about 1150gm with the scabbard.

This khukuri is normally used for outdoor works such as to cut woods, meat, clean bushes etc. This khukuri can also be used as decorative and business gifts & for souvenir purposes.
