Accompanying the main blade are two traditional side blades: Karda: A small utility knife for everyday tasks—and Chakmak: A flat-honing steel used for maintaining the sharpness of the khukuri in the field. Rooted in the rich heritage of Nepal, this khukuri pays homage to the Thapa clan, a lineage of esteemed warriors instrumental in the unification of Nepal.
