This Balanced World War I Historic British Army Khukuri (also called “kukri”) has been supplied to the military personnel on active duty till today. The handmade 12-inch blade is made from highly graded carbon steel (5160 ) metal. The khukuri is a semi-polished blade with a sharp edge. It is broad and more curved than Standard Khukuris thus making it balanced and very perfect while using. The thickness of the blade is about 10mm at the spine. The handle is a 5-inch long flat full tang handle made of Indian rosewood. Unlike another handle, the handle and Blade are one single piece and visible all around the handle (See pictures). Two Rosewood pieces joint (Attached) strongly to the metal part of the handle with three metal rivets. The khukuri comes with a special Brown Sheath made of Genuine Buffalo Leather. The overall length of this khukuri is about 17.5 inches OR 45cm from the tip to the pommel and weighs around 950gm along with the sheath. The shipping weight is around 1.5kg.

EGKH has reproduced the same World War I Khukuri. The Balanced World War I Historic British Army Khukuri is a tactical khukuri, great for heavy-duty outdoor works.
