This is 10″ Chainpure Jungle Army Issue Khukuri | New version Kukri. This is one of the very exclusive khukuri from our khukuri house. “Chainpure” is a small village located in the eastern part of Nepal. This type of khukuri is mostly made in the chainpure village in Nepal. The name “Chainpure” of the khukuri is given after its village name where it originated centuries ago. Chainpure people specialized in many ornamental, souvenir, and decorative displayers amongst which the Chainpure Special Khukuris are one of their famed craftsmanship.

The 10″ Chainpure Jungle Army Issue Khukuri | New version Kukri is a semi-polished razor-sharp knife with a well oil quenched blade. It is handcrafted by the famous & very skilled “Bishwakarmas” (“Kaami” or blacksmiths) using very high-quality materials in a very traditional forging method. Our blacksmith’s hand forged this khukuri with a 10-inch blade and about a 5.5-inch dark rosewood handle. The semi-polished fixed blade is forged from highly graded 5160 carbon steel with a rat tail tang rosewood handle. The scabbard is made of soft cottonwood wrapped in buffalo hide (leather) dyed in brown color. This is the outdoor or jungle knife for wood chopping and is good for camping. It weighs 650 grams with Sheath. It comes with two small utility knives called Karda (Sharp) and Chakmak (blunt).
