The blade has a spine hardness of 22-25 RC, belly hardness of 45-46 RC, and edge hardness of 58-60 RC. A Karda & Chakmak are included with this khukuri. Karda is a sharp knife that can be used to cut fruits & vegetables, open tin cans, etc. The Chakmak is a blunt steel that can be used to hone the khukuri blade or used to produce sparks for fire with fire steel or flint.
